Well, from the perspective of someone thinking about next big dog, thinking either GSD or Dobe, "with a job to do"... I'm interested in IGP, impressed by the people who take it up later in life, and as a dog nerd; Have a ton of questions about how its evolved over the year, esp from its roots...

@Sunje sadly, I agree. There are too many good dogs in shelters ruined by humans, and too few good humans available with the capability to keep, much less fix them.

I agree @Ravenbird . In the puppy-juvenile stage (like human toddler) staying ahead of the dog and training on what is good, what is not, is relatively easy, IMHO from mostly rescues, compared to "fixing" a rescue where it may be months of trust building and years to get them back to "95%" (and...
