We lost another battle

I'm so happy to hear this! I know this is a great route to go for you! I've heard wonderful things about 'alternative' medicines for all kinds of diseases. Rue is still beside you so keep up the walking that she started. 💕
I have become an herbalist and having good success in both treating and preventing different illnesses. It's been a fun learning curve 😊.

Today has been the hardest yet. Having Christmas to focus on and lots of company aty house was a distraction that helped some. Now everyone is headed home and I'm here in a quiet house. No walks with my girl, no nose pokes, no getting licked awake to let someone out. How miss the softest tongue ever liking my hand in the dark to say You up Mom? I gotta pee! Nothing, just quiet. 😩

Oh no… Jeesh that hits hard.
So heartbreaking, I am so sorry.

My sweet Rue Boo lost her battle to cancer on Saturady. Needless to say our hearts are shattered. 😢
She was so beautiful , strong and courageous. Probably the smartest dog I have ever met. I have never seen a dog so determined to let know what she was trying to tell you.
I don't want to go into all the ugly details because I want to try and forget that part. Cancer is UGLY! I just want to try and keep the beautiful parts of her life close to my heart. She's at peace now and I am definitely keeping that close.
R.I.P. baby girl....
So sorry for your loss and know how hard it is… they become like our kids, our family! Keep all the great memories of her close to your heart

I will never understand why crying is so painful....so good 'for' you when grieving, but boy does it mess up your head!!! Eyes swollen, sinuses full to capacity with no recovery....it feels good, but also physically painful.
Yes. Our kids were teens when we got our first Doberman and our son was particularly close to him. When he died 10 years later, our son helped us bury him. I still cry remembering how my son cried. And he told me, gosh, I forgot how much crying hurts your eyes! 😭 Yes it does. And your throat. And your head! But mostly your heart. 😢

Today marks 1 year since I lost my girl. Still hurts like it was yesterday.....
Rue Boo, I MISS YOU! You were a very special girl in our house. It's just not the same without you. I guess I just have to settle for the peace that comes knowing you no longer have pain.

I can so relate to this. Hopefully the rawness of the pain is easing now.
