He View attachment 119863just can't get why I'm catching up on DC instead of playing with him!!
I realize I always post more pictures of Moo than Rubie. Moo is ALWAYS underfoot and way more interested in what I'm doing. Rubie is usually napping somewhere or concerning herself with the fence line

How did she do?Along that theme... Post show nappy cuddles.
2nd in her class of 3. Surrounded by professionals once again (no surprise)How did she do?
I was wondering if this one is AKC or UKC. I don't care how good we would be in the ring, it would be the people who make me nervous at AKC shows.Funny how AKC makes him nervous when he's comfy showing UKC!
What's the difference between them?I was wondering if this one is AKC or UKC. I don't care how good we would be in the ring, it would be the people who make me nervous at AKC shows.
No professionals allowed in UKC. AKC is largely professionals, especially Dobermans. Their last show for example they were the only owner handler pair for Dobermans out of almost 30. It's much more formal. They don't wait around... if you have ring conflicts, too bad. Nice part though we aren't there all day like UKC.What's the difference between them?
Exactly and UKC is very friendly and helpful to their competitors where AKC competitors can have that "you don't belong here" attitude no matter how nice your dog is. Like Rits said, the UKC encourages you to get out there yourself with your own dog (hiring a handler isn't allowed) and with AKC you almost have to hire a professional handler. No professionals allowed in UKC. AKC is largely professionals, especially Dobermans.
