Grumble’s “I really don’t like to eat this” list grows by 100 %....

As of last night, It’s gone from frogs (which had her foaming at the mouth)

To frogs and mosquito coils...... (Especially ones alreday lit)......

Cane toad licking is rampant here in Australia! Some dogs keep one captive between the paws for the occasional top up. Good that Grumble is not the addictive type!

Not exactly on topic, but it is about frogs n dogs! In the early hours of this morning I could hear Jazz being restless, and she came and "whiffled" me awake. I thought she was uncomfortable and took her out for a poop break. Nothing doing. Settled back to bed, and she seemed ok except that her stomach kept going gurgle, pop, slosh. In the end I got up and fed her a small handful of meaty treats, which she looked surprised about but received gratefully. We all eventually dozed off.

When it got light, Jazz was out on her outside bed, but I could still hear the stomach gurgling noise! I'd only left the cap off a 20ltr container with a little water in the bottom right outside the window and a toad had got in and all the noise was it's attempts to get out!:rofl:

Yuck!

Dobes seem prone to fussy eating, but this is next level! Grumble is not alone - some of them seem to enjoy keeping frogs in their mouth too haha @GennyB

And guess what up? Tis the season once again. Hubs was out with the dogs the other day. Opens the door and yells "Get me some more towels, as many as you can find!" I grab as many as I could find, there's a shortage with all the mud we have. I find Hubby has Rumor in a sit and she is just covered in mud. Her feet were just huge mud balls and her stomach was just caked. We got her cleaned up enough to get her to the bath tub and I asked what happened. She found a place where a frog was buried and decided to help the guy out a bit. Rue has decided it's spring and the frog should be unearthed!
Had to remind hubby the reason to go out with the dogs is to keep an eye on them so things like this don't happen.

Sadly, my froggie had a different closing chapter, involving the two-front-leg- pounding, lots of barking and (by the foaming at the mouth) some tongue-tippy-testing !:wideyed::wtf3::green:
