Doberman Puppy - Underweight & Missing Manners

I'm at a crossroad. I don't know what else to do with my pup.
She's about 10 months old, and extremely small.
She eats nonstop but she is super thin - like so thing you can see her bones. It seems like as soon as she lost her puppy weight its been a struggle for her to gain more weight.
We changed her dog food and recently transitioned to Taste of the Wild, since it was 30/20 protein fat and I recently started adding both salmon oil (she's starting to get dry skin because of the weather), pumpkin and egg to her meals (not all of them) - am I just not feeding her enough? She'll eat and she will almost seem bloated and then the next day she's smaller again.
I tried satin balls as well, but I don't know if they were working - how long does it usually take to start seeing results?

Her temperament has not changed, she's the sweetest dog, however I'm also having trouble with her actually being fully house trained. We could be outside for hours and we'll come back in and she'll go to the washroom inside the house. It's almost like we're going through the terrible puppy stages now. She's constantly getting into things, or on the counter because she's so tall. I thought maybe because she's bored, so we bought more toys, we do more things around the house and she plays with our children and our other dog. But I just don't know what to do anymore.

How many cups a day are you feeding and what is her weight ?

Yes, those numbers would be helpful.

Has she been checked out by a vet recently?

My boy Oji has struggled with being underweight and too thin. It has not been to the point of me considering him frail or weak or sickly or anything – in fact he has always been very strong, explosive and active – but seeing his vertebrae, hip bones and too many ribs has been very common.

Pictures of your girl would be helpful in assessing her condition.

As to the behavior problems: That's always complicated, especially since we don't know all the details of what is going on and has and has not been done in her life.

Not being house trained/potty trained at 10 months is unusual. Something has gone wrong there, unless she has a UTI (which a vet can check for).

Young dogs need structure, firmness and consistency. I like the NILIF concept of training and living with a dog. It stands for "Nothing In Life Is Free."

It's hard to comment on the weight without pics. You say 'small' but most don't realize the doberman is a medium sized dog.
As far as the potty training, start over. Put her on a schedule like after water or waking up, take her out on a leash with a pocket full of treats or a favorite toy and say 'potty' or what ever command you want to use. When she goes, reward her and get super excited.
For the getting into things, is she crate trained? Probably best (and safest) for her to be crated when she can't be watched. Counter surfing can be fixed by keeping your counters free of the goodies that cause her get up there. Also tethering her to you so you can instantly correct her for the things she is doing that she's not supposed to.

here is a picture of my male ace hes 14 months now and very thin as well he has topped at 75 lbs in the past but is now down to 62 to 66 lbs at best i struggle to keep weight on him as well as i find he is very active from the time his feet hit the floor at 415 am till i try to crawl into bed at 8 pm. i have to say he is getting over giardia . i give a prebiotic and probiotic once a day everyday as he came to us from a not top notch breeder and has always had tummy issues and pooh issues. he has been thru his puppy teens and has a few behaviors im working on still. but the vet said for as over active as he is he may stay extra slim till he gets older and maybe slows down some.20181117_101655.jpg

Are you still in contact with the breeder to ask these questions to, as well? or is that not an option? Have you seen a vet with these questions/concerns?

I'll reiterate that pictures would certainly help. My female was pretty much done growing taller at 10 months but has filled out, weight wise. She's at 62 lbs which looks really good on her. You don't really want to see spine or prominent hip bones but you want your pup on the leaner side.

He looks like he is a good weight, definitely wouldn’t want to put more on him. Probably just keep normal feeding. I might even cut back just a little. He will put on muscle weight over the next year or so. More weight is not always good, much harder on there joints, especially at an early age.
