Pretty sure Nero is crate trained. He goes in there easily, stays in there all night and has never had an accident in his crate. He only fusses in there when he needs to get out to potty.
But now how to do we go about house training? Just watch him like a hawk? He had a wet accident after I took him outside already for a number 2 (which I figured out from watching him.) Obviously I didn't keep him outside long enough to pee too. So I can tell when he has to poop generally, but since we don't allow him free reign about the house (he's either gated in or on a leash) so he can't always run to the door either. Right now if he's in the kitchen that's what he does. But it doesn't help downstairs!
