Faith's Show Career

Round three is in Wichita at the Sunflower cluster April 3-5. Aria is also showing. There is a specialty that weekend as well. We have been working on the step, stand, stays with Faith at home as well as having her in conformation class these past two weeks. Looking forward to the show :)

Nothing to report from Wichita, but Faith did well in her class. Her movement was fantastic, but she still has those sweet puppy antics in the ring and was much more interested in the bait that was left on the floor than staying in her stack :) She has great presence and was complimented on her expression. Very proud of my little girl.

Her half brother, Rafter on her dam's side received Winner's Dog and Best of Winner's today for a 4 point major! We are very proud of him! Faith's Granddam Mayan was entered in Veterans too.

Faith will not be attending the show in Seward with Aria. We are holding her back from showing for a while to let her mature and get more training under her belt.

I'm glad she did well and even if you don't win the experience is priceless. Great to hear her relatives did well!

I totally agree with you on the experience. Priceless :)

She's so cute out there. Wish you guys could see her in the ring

We are contemplating entering Faith in Topeka, KS May 8-10. It depends on how well she does in conformation class these next few weeks. Aria is entered.

the experience is priceless
It's so true! I'll never forget watching a local horse show and someone came through a 'speed' event practically at a walk. I was like, huh? Then someone told this 'non show person' (me!) that it was just a practice run for a beginner! :speechless: OH! Then the light bulb went on and I thought, how cool! You have to start somewhere! :)

Prada is showing in Topeka May 8-11, maybe we will see you there again!!!

Definitely!!!

Now that is a pretty puppy!!
Thank you! She's pretty rotten :) Love her to bits

Is this one a big show?
It's not huge, but it's a bigger show. It's actually my kennel club that is hosting :)

Lol. Good priorities. Thanks DG. Good luck to you, Paula, Prada and the boys. See ya Sunday

Update: First place! Faith did very well this weekend and was pretty close to taking a reserve. Proud of this little angel.

Next stop, Stillwater OK May 24-26.

Saturday, Faith took first place in the 12-18 month class out of a competitive class of 6 bitches. Pretty impressive as she was the youngest puppy in the class (she just turned 12 mos on Thursday). She has really grown in the ring the past two shows and is eager and quick to learn. She took first Sunday as well and had nothing to report either day out of the Specialty

Her sister Aria took Winner's Bitch Saturday for a 4 point major and her half brother Rafter took Winner's Dog in the Sweepstakes Sunday.

Next show is Oklahoma City, OK. Not sure on dates yet

Very proud of my girl
