I'm starting this early this year since the temps have been so unseasonably warm, BUT anything could still happen from here since our normal high is in the low 30's yet and we still have the potential to get lots more snow.

The person who guesses closest to when it totally melts will win a $20 certificate to our Cafe Press shop where you can buy your choice of our goods. http://www.cafepress.com/dobermanchat

For your guess we want the date and time in CST. The person with the closest guess will win.
Obviously the contest will end when the snow is gone. In case of a tie, the first person who guessed the correct time will be the winner.
If the snow pile isn't gone when your guess is, you may guess again, but whoever guesses closest first will be the winner.

Here's is the thread to last years contest for reference:

Here are the photos as of 2:45 PM (CST) today, March 14, 2012. I will also post our forecast for the next week after the photos.
I will also periodically take new shots as the pile goes down.

Good luck!

And our forecast for the next week.

Good luck to everyone! Since I won it last year, I'm gonna sit this one out and have fun watching. I think it's a bit more trickier this year with the unusual weather!! I had to rub my eyes to make sure I was seeing your forecast correctly.:D

I suck at this (been out of the snow zone for 20 yrs).
Taking the screwy weather into consideration and if it continues.... I'd guess

April 23rd 2pm

I seriously am really bad at these, I could never even guess how many m&ms were in the jar. . . I was always just a fewww hundred off  but, I wanna play so I am going to go with April 10th 3:00 P.M the 10th is our anniversarry so maybe it will be a Lucky number ;)

Any updates yet?
I'll go out and get a new pic today. I have to say that I'm surprised at how fast it is going down compared to usual since that area gets almost no sun all day long. Of course it's been in the mid 70's for the past couple days too...

Updated pics from today and I can't believe how fast it's going compared to usual (sometime in May) since we had a high of 76 yesterday and 79 today.

Taken today, March 18 at 5:40 pm. I'm trying to take them from the same angles every time so you can see the progress.

Dammit I was wrong !!! That's some pile as remember Jan we had 2' of snow 2 weeks ago and I have NO SNOW !!! The river in the front yard is overflowing and you can hear the roar of that thing thru the window......Cool sleeping noise, but dang I lost this round.....................

Never underestimate how long this particular pile will last though. ;) I forgot to include the latest forecast and it is going to cool down again, so it's a crap shoot for sure. :)

I made that post before I saw your forecast. If it rains, that pile is a goner for sure! I'm keeping my guess for Wednesday though :)
