That's a tragedy but I see the owners as being as at fault as the snowmobiler.Their dog could've just as easily been in the road and caused a horrific accident with multiple people losing their lives or on the snowmobile trail and caused a riders death.I just don't think there are many places if...
I saw a while back that coyotes are becoming "urban" and they have packs in downtown LA now. They're smart enough to adapt to inner cities. We have them in Southwest Mi. now and growing up(long, long ago) they weren't anywere near this part of the country.I hope we don't have to start worrying...
My rescue dobe Shiloh's been on Soloxine 2X@day for her thyriod for 3 yrs now. When we realized she had a thyriod problem a few months after we rescued her it was discouraging and scary. But after researching and asking people with experience,I've found that it's about the "best"health problem a...
My first dobe in the 70's was a male escape artist that got loose and hit by a car at about 12,second a female that died of cancer at 12,third a female died of cancer at about 8,Shiloh's now about 6 and doing well,no white muzzle yet.All ages are approximate because they were all rescued.
I'm very sorry for your pain and loss!! I know how painful it is when you reach that point when it's more important to end their pain than to keep them with you.I'll pray for comfort for you.
Thanks for buying and keeping this place going Jan. I surely hope this stressful drama stops very soon,I know I wouldn't have the patience.
I'm not sure what you're supposed to apologize for either?(in what I consider a very rude and demanding tone!!)...and I sure didn't consider...
I'm so sorry for all the pain you've had recently.Thank you for giving Indy a wonderful home and the chance to live out her time with your love and care.I know she trusts your wisdom in balancing her quality of life and whenever you're forced to make that tough choice will be the right...
First of all thank you very very much for rescuing both him and your boxer!!!!
He looks all dobe to me and altho he is small for a male dobe, the good news is that in general the smaller ones live longer.
I hope he has a smooth transition into your home and that he rewards you for saving him by...
That's not a valid intelligence indicator. Us males know what balls are important and have the intelligence to prioritize. For instance,if my balls change to the size of a cantaloupe,I think I'd notice right away!! Yet I don't check on the sizes of other balls at all(don't know, don't care!!)
